I am pleased to announce that in 2020 I will have a regular column in Acupuncture Today on topics in neurology and neuroscience as they relate to Chinese medicine. This fall they published a 2-part series I wrote on the cerebellum that you can access here: Part 1 and Part 2.
Please visit my events page to see upcoming live workshops and seminars that I will be offering in 2020 on topics in neurology and neurological examination techniques, including a day-long workshop at the 51st TCM Kongress in Rothenburg, Germany May 2020.
I have Acquired Ataxia from being over-durged for a surgery on 7/8/2014. I have balance and gait problems cuz my cerebellum was damaged. My girdle area was damaged 2 years later after being rear ended in my car and then I could not walk at all. I lived in a wheelchair for 2 years but made it out after some excellent PT. I’ve now been getting acupuncture and my girdle is improving to removed heaviness in that area of my body. I’d like to learn more on how to retrain my brain to change the circuitry to resolve my balance and gait issues. I do believe that this can happen but I need the right kind of help to do so.
